We are thrilled to announce that 8 students from the School of Automotive Engineering Limassol (S.o.A.E.) are currently participating in an exciting Erasmus+ mobility in Córdoba, Spain, from March 22 to April 5, 2024.
These students are engaging in a work allocation program in collaboration with major automotive companies Nissan and Renault.
4 students will be working with Nissan, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of automotive engineering, particularly focusing on Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology.
4 students will be working with Renault, where they will explore innovative automotive solutions and work on the development of electric vehicles.
Apply their academic knowledge in real-world environments.
Learn from industry leaders in the automotive and electric vehicle sectors.
Develop technical skills that are crucial to the future of sustainable transportation.
To enhance students’ understanding of Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology.
To develop practical skills in automotive engineering by working with two of the largest companies in the automotive industry.
To contribute to the green transition in the automotive sector by collaborating with companies dedicated to sustainability.
The current mobility is an incredible chance for our students to expand their practical knowledge, improve their employability, and develop crucial international connections. Through this program, students not only gain valuable experience with Nissan and Renault, but they also strengthen the School of Automotive Engineering Limassol's relationships with top-tier industry players.
We are pleased to share that our previous Erasmus+ mobility was successfully completed in Córdoba, Spain, with 11 students from the School of Automotive Engineering Limassol (S.o.A.E.) participating.
This mobility took place from January 12 to January 25, 2024, and offered students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry.
During this mobility, the 11 students were placed in various garages in Córdoba, where they gained practical experience in:
Automotive diagnostics
Maintenance and repair of vehicles
Understanding the latest trends in automotive engineering, including electric and hybrid vehicle technologies
Engaging with professional automotive technicians and engineers to develop both technical and interpersonal skills
To allow students to apply classroom knowledge in real-world settings.
To develop professional skills in automotive engineering and maintenance.
To immerse students in the latest practices and technologies being used in automotive garages.
This Erasmus+ mobility provided an invaluable opportunity for students to build their technical skills, foster their passion for automotive engineering, and strengthen their resumes by gaining international work experience.
By collaborating with local professionals, students not only enhanced their technical expertise but also learned from the best in the field.
As a newly accredited Erasmus+ institution since February 1, 2024, the School of Automotive Engineering Limassol (S.o.A.E.) is excited to offer students and staff the chance to participate in Erasmus+ programs throughout the period 2024-2027.
